Our Story

IdeaGems Publications has been producing print and web media since 2003. Our bi-monthly magazine devoted to promoting new writers and artists is going in its 7th year. We are affiliated with two film production companies: Wasted Minds Entertainment and Zogby Entertainment. Now, we have an innovative new project with a a new mission: a comic book series with movie potential. "The Adventures of Zombieman" features a modern-day brain-eating superhero, Zack Zombieman, an Iraq War veteran with a steel plate in his head who is very dead. Zombieman has his issues, but he always saves the day in his zombie way!

The Impact

Zombies are everywhere: in movies, books, even TV commercials. But what are those zombies contributing to society? Our comic book-to-film concept has a mission to help bring awareness to wounded and traumatized veterans. With each sale of the Zombieman comic book series, proceeds will go to veteran concerns where every little bit helps.

What We Need & What You Get

$5,000  is a good start to pay our comic book artists as well as for printing and product promotion.

Heres the break down of what you get for your support:
$10 - Certificate of Appreciation (CoA) for your support

$25  - Complimentary copy of The Adventures of Zombieman comic book with CoA

$50  - Special mention in the comic book sponsors page with CoA and complimentary autographed copy
$100 - Special mention PLUS your name as a character in the story plus CoA and complimentary autographed copy
$500 - All of the above plus the addition of your own story line in one of the issues

Other Ways You Can Help

Spread the word to every zombie-phile you know, talking about our project at zombie marches and other events. And even if you and your peeps are not into zombies, please mention our cause to raise money for and bring attention to the plight of wounded and traumatized veterans.
